Sharon Glick is the illustrator of We Match! by New York Times bestselling author Chris Barton. Glick's first children’s book, ¡Perros! ¡Perros! Dogs! Dogs!, by Ginger Foglesong Guy, was a Junior Library Guild and Bank Street College Best Books selection. An active freelance illustrator, Sharon is a regular cartoon contributor to Edible Bozeman Magazine and has public art all over Bozeman, Montana, including the exterior of the Public Library's beloved bookmobile and the banners hanging outside the Library itself.
Sharon was an Artist/Animator on Comedy Central’s Peabody-award-winning “Dr. Katz: Professional Therapist” and spent many years in the children's museum world in Bozeman and in her native Boston. For 15 years, she helped plan and host the Children’s Festival of the Book in Bozeman. An art educator, former All-American soccer player, and avid ice-hockey player, Sharon lives near Montana State University with her wife, two teenage kids, and 14-year-old dog.
Fun facts: Sharon’s cat lived to be almost 21 and appears in both her dog books. Sharon’s Grandfather, Milton Glick, was a Book Designer (Art Director) for The Viking Press from 1928-1960 and designed Make Way for Ducklings.
